Hey,
These last couple weeks have been really busy with my teacher training. I going to be teaching calculus I (mat 270) recitations once a week. I will probably also be grading for the class lectures as well.
This semester's class schedule:
Monday:

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

Thursday:

I will also have to have three hours of office hours somewhere in there. I'm probably going to put them Mon, Tue, and Wed afternoons. |

I'm back from Norway!
It has been an awesome, but long, two months.
I missssesss my friends...! I love you guys, you guys are awesome.
Anyway, I'm back to hangout.
I start some teacher training thing on Monday - which goes all week long, but evenings should be good for me.

Hello!
I forgot about you, livejournal, for so so long.
Its awesome that many of you guys still manage to keep your livejournal's updated. I wish I could. Its probably neat to have life documented.
I'll be coming to your party, Jules! Yay ^_^!
Recent news:
graduation! Now I have a college degree...
I'm starting grad school in the fall. I've been in school so long, I'm afraid of the real world. I think I'll live in the academic world as long as possible. Wouldn't know what else to do.
I'll be a TA in the math department. This will probably mean that I'll be teaching a lower level math class come this fall. I'm excited and scared. I taught my first lecture today. It was for a seminar for math-biology. It was a two and a half hour long lecture on modeling populations in competition. (I somehow managed to talk for the entire 2.5 hours - for the record 2.5 hours is a really really long time.)
I'm going to Norway for two months to collect mud. More importantly - I'm being paid to go to Norway to collect mud. I leave in 11 days. I have a weird but amazing job.
After my amazing lecture (Did I mention it was amazing? ...I don't think anyone fell asleep.)I made some stuffed grape leaves. My friends Jewish mother came over from Israel just to teach me. They are super yummy. |

I AM going to find some where to take swing dance lessons, so

I signed up for one more class which brings me to 18 hours.
Its a lot but I'll have more time because I'm not tutoring.
Plus I need to make sure to graduate on time. |

So only half my grades in, I'm waiting for the others. grr...
But the main thing is... I got an A in... Advanced Calc! Yay for Angie! This news is awesome.
I am happy.
Ty graduated last week. ^_^! Hes really excited. So, Yay for Ty! And now on to Garmin with with.
He is happy.
Things are pretty good - with all the happiness surrounding it.
Oh! Christmas parteh?!
I can host it.
Perhaps Thursday night, the 20th, at 7:30? Does that work for people?
Let me know, I can't make it Friday or Saturday. (Sedona with Ty's parents)

Christmas is coming. Man, I get so excited about it every year. I just love this season. I mean, baking alone... ^_^!
Big Hard Math Test Monday At 7:40 am = no good.
I'm officially done with finals Wednesday night, just in time to go see Ty graduate. He is excited to be done and out of school.
I made scones for the first time the other day! Oatmeal scones. Also these lemon cookies which are aweeesomme.
Christmas gifts this year = tins of cookies and hand made earrings, because I am El Cheapo :P (...or would I be La Cheapa?) |

School starts on Monday. I'm sort of looking forward to it.
Oh, and I bought this adorable giraffe watch necklace thing on ebay the other day. It only cost 55 cents but I had to spend $8.00 on shipping from China. It is so co cute. I can't wait to get it. Man, I love getting/expecting mail. Mail is the best.
I have my last day as a secretary at the office tomorrow. But I'll be able to do some work for them at home this semester, which will be nice. Working at home, anytime - much easier than making it into an office.
Coolness.
Oh, and I moved back home a couple days ago. It'll be alright. No more paying rent will be amazing. |

Hey guys. So its been almost a year since I updated this. That is crazy. I figured I'd better say something before I hit that year anniversary.
I'm totally going to your singing party, Jules. Sounds like a good game for our group.
Hong Kong Buffet the other day was awesome. We'll have to go again sometime, because Pam couldn't make it.
I'm moving back home on the 14th, which will be... interesting. I will save lots of money though. Ty already moved out of the complex, so its already different without him as a neighbor.
I'm thinking that I'm might not go to grad school. I'm going to look into maybe doing something like actuary studies, which basically still requires a math degree. It sounds like it might be pretty neat. We'll see though. Its looking like that or eventually becoming a math professor, which would also be pretty neat.
So Katie is getting married right about now. Congratulations! I am really happy for you. <3<3<3.
Oh, and Kate is moving to Washington DC. Woot for Kate. ^_^!
Maybe I'll update sometime around this time next year. :P

Party shifting!
We're moving it to Jules... maybe.

Maybe, we can still meet at my house and then figure out someplace.
I think maybe we can all go to nellos and get pizzas and awesome salads.
We can definitly eat dinner somewhere, but if you want to do all night we'll have to find a new house.

This is for everyone except Alex bath... :(!
Bring food and drinks. If you don't bring over food, we'll be eating the chicken ramen and drinking water... maybe we can have some macaronni & cheese- but I'm not sure we have butter to make it.
My family is camping, and are taking all the snake foods in the house (which isn't much anyways) I work untill around 5:00 ish, and won't have much time for shopping.
Also, we could all go out and get food tonight, that might be fun.
Pizza is always good, and orderable.

My parents are out of town next weekend, so... Party!
Well, okay do my parents know of my party plans, but still...
Friday the 17th
Alex & Amy theoretically will be back in town.
Friday night, order pizzas, watching movie all night long.
Jules, Pam, marc, Amy, Alex, Katie - you should all come.
...and anyone else who calls and wants to come.
6:30 to sometime saturday morning- (I think we should make mufffins for breakfast!)

So a large portion, if not all the rest of my family will be camping in payson. My mums fine with you guys coming over, but she wants to make sure you guys are alright with them not being here.
So yeah, fun stuff.
Also- that friday is my last day of work, yay! T'will be a good day. |
